Twin Cities Laser Association

District 21 and the Calhoun, Minnetonka, Wayzata, & White Bear Yacht Clubs joined together to help form the Twin Cities Laser Association. The purpose of the TCLA is to make week night Laser racing more accessible and affordable. Members of the TCLA will have week night racing privileges at both CYC, MYC, WYC and WBYC throughout the season. TCLA will contract with local YC’s to provide judges for all scheduled week night races. No more volunteering or not having a race course to sail around!

Cost of Annual Membership:

You have to join one local YC. Cost usually about $70.
Once you have joined a YC, send $30 to the TCLA and voilà you are done.
Early bird special: $25 before April 10th.

No longer will you have to pay fees at both clubs for week night privileges (normally about $150!). Thanks to Mike Elson of CYC, Dave Onan of WYC, and Bruce Martinson for getting this effort rolling.

Note: Typically, to be scored and receive trophies, you must be a full member of a given club.
