St. Pete Scorer

Thanks to everyone that came out to sail last Saturday. I finally recovered the scores from the club house and got them tallied up.
For those of you that didn't come, let me say that you missed a great day of racing. The morning's 5 races were sailed in 10-20mph wind. A small rain storm came through during our lunch break. We went back out and got in 5 more races with winds between 15-20mph and wrapped up at 3:30pm. Most of you missed Mike and Betty's cooking...that is always a big mistake.
Betty had prepared an amazing spread of Fajita's, dips and various other food to her typical standards (which are way better than Laser sailors deserve). Johannes even showed up for the party, proving to me for the first time this season that he does still exist.

While Bruce sailed his normal solid regatta, I have to give more credit to Uta and Tracy (our 2 women skippers) for sticking out the day in wind conditions that were not to their advantage. Also interesting in the scores, Bob Wolf, in 7th place finished 7th in 9 out of 10 races, by far the most consistent sailor out there. Also a big thanks to Mark and Kurt for coming up from Wisconsin and mixing it up with us, it's always fun to show some out of towners a good time.
